New exhibitions open at WVU's Mesaros Galleries to feature Chinese painting, ceramic sculpture
January 16th, 2013New exhibitions opening at the West Virginia University Creative Arts Center?s Mesaros Galleries on Thursday (Jan. 17) include paintings by Youxian Zhang, one of China?s most famous painting masters, and ceramic sculptures by Robert ?Boomer? Moore from the WVU School of Art & Design faculty. Both exhibitions will be open through Feb. 21. -

WVU Solar Decathlon team ready to build solar-powered, log home
January 4th, 2013The Decathlon, a collegiate design-and-build competition among 20 international teams, is slated for Oct. 3-13 at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, Calif. Each team will strive for one thing -- to design, build and operate the most affordable, attractive and energy-efficient solar-powered house. -
