WVU Community Arts Program offers Flute Camp June 23-26

Talented high school flute students are invited to attend Flute Camp at the Creative Arts Center on the WVU Evansdale Campus June 23-26, 2010. Sponsored by the WVU Community Arts Program, the camp is open to all high school flutists who are entering grades 9-12.
WVU offers summer photography workshop in Jackson Hole

The WVU College of Creative Arts announces a summer program in photography, led by Michael Sherwin, assistant professor of photography and digital imaging, June 17-27, 2010.
Hasan Elahi, an internationally known artist whose work has been featured by The New York Times, Forbes, Wired, CNN, NPR and Al Jazeera, will present the 16th annual Deem Distinguished Artist Lecture in the WVU Division of Art and Design, Thursday, March 11.
Duo Montagnard, featuring saxophonist Joseph Murphy and guitarist Matthew Slotkin, will present a recital on March 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Antoinette Falbo Theatre inside the WVU Creative Arts Center.
West Virginia University's Division of Theatre and Dance presents "Everything is Ready: An Evening of Dance," the 2010 WVU Dance Ensemble concert featuring a diverse program highlighting the troupes' dancing and choreographing talents.

WVU Choirs offer solace through Mozart's Requiem on Feb. 21

The WVU Women's Choir is joining with the University Choir to offer some solace to those grieving after recent loss. On Sunday, Feb. 21 at 3:15 p.m. the choirs will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Requiem" in honor of those who have recently passed, especially those who died as a result of the earthquake in Haiti, and surviving family members in this time of grief.
Summer and Smoke at the CAC Feb. 4-6
