The Art Museum of West Virginia University will be closed over the Thanksgiving holiday from Nov. 21-26, and will reopen Sunday Nov. 27.

Upon reopening, the museum will operate on its regular fall hours of Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12:30-4:30 p.m., and Thursday 3:30-7:30 p.m.

The Art Museum is located at the intersection of Patteson Drive and Morrill Way at the North Entrance to the Evansdale Campus.

Current exhibitions include “Independent Vision: Self-taught Artists from Appalachia,” the newly opened “Studio Window: The Prints of Grace Martin Taylor,” and contemporary works from the WVU Art Collection that were part of the opening exhibition titled “Visual Conversations: Looking and Listening.”
