West Virginia University will hold a bell-ringing ceremony, coordinated by the Office of Student Life and Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity, on Friday (Oct. 28) in remembrance of student Sean Guthrie.

Guthrie, 20, a junior industrial engineering major from Toms River, New Jersey, died October 19.

The service will begin around noon at Oglebay Plaza on WVU’s downtown campus, and those interested in attending are asked to be there at least 15 minutes beforehand. Family, friends and members of the University community are welcome to attend Friday’s ceremony.
