Join the West Virginia University Center for Black Culture and Research as it brings together friends, alumni and the greater campus community for its homecoming pregame tailgate on Saturday (Oct. 1).

The tailgate will be held in Coca-Cola Hospitality Village at Milan Puskar Stadium at 1 p.m. Tailgaters will enjoy free food, games, giveaways and live music provided by DJ Strizzy. The event, held annually, is free and open to the public.

“The tailgate is one of my favorite events,” said Marjorie Fuller, director of the WVU Center for Black Culture and Research. “It provides an opportunity for the community to enjoy some time together before the game. There is great food and entertainment and it is always a great time!”

The Center for Black Culture and Research provides a wide array of services for the campus of WVU. The office aims to offer critical support to students of color while providing the University community with educational, cultural and social events unique to the black experience.
