Audiences will enjoy an eclectic evening of music as West Virginia University’s choral ensembles take the stage at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24, in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre of the Creative Arts Center.

“The program is quite eclectic and includes some more traditional pieces by Mozart and Mendelssohn as well as many modern pieces from several different countries including Japan, New Zealand, Australia, India, Chile, Haiti, and the United States,” said Kym Scott, director of choral activities in WVU’s School of Music. “There should be something for everyone in this program.”

The concert will feature all of WVU’s choral ensembles, including the Chamber Singers, Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, and the West Virginia Community Choir. There will also be a guest performance by the University High School Choir directed by Barry Kolar.
