The University Place parking garage, located on University Avenue, is open and available for students, faculty and staff and the community to begin parking in. The garage houses 500 parking spaces and has a variety of parking passes available.

Currently you can park there for $1.50 an hour while you commute to the downtown campus or visit the retail within University Place. Monthly and 24-hour permits can also be purchased to help ease the daily commute on students, faculty and staff.

“The Downtown Campus is less than a 5-minute walk from the University Place garage. Pay stations and gates are equipped with credit card capability making it extremely convenient for our students, faculty, staff, and general public,” said Clement Solomon, director of Transportation and Parking at West Virginia University.

The University Place Parking Garage is part of the $70 million mixed use residential and retail complex in the heart of Morgantown’s Sunnyside district just a few blocks from WVU’s Downtown Campus. The parking garage marks the completion of the complex.

For more information or to purchase a monthly or 24-hour pass please contact University Place’s Property Manager Tara Gilchrist at 304.293.2253.
