West Virginia University President E. Gordon Gee goes incognito in his latest “Gee Mail.” He tries to blend in with the campus workforce to discover what it takes to make the University run smoothly.

“Our staff are the most loyal, dedicated group of people I have ever met,” Gee said. “Many of them have been here for many years, and they have nothing but a passion for moving this institution forward. I feel very blessed to work among them.”

Though the president fooled no one on his latest adventure, he donned various disguises and aliases such as “Elwood McGee” and “Gordon Bleu.”

In this Gee Mail, our bow-tied undercover boss cooks it up at Boreman Bistro and scrubs the pavement in a streetsweeper as part of the facilities crew. And he realizes, that perhaps, his job isn’t the most challenging after all.
