The School of Social Work at West Virginia University is offering professional and community education programs for social workers, counselors, addictions/prevention professionals, family caregivers and nurses who wish to earn continuing education credit.

Workshops will deal with a variety of topics aimed to assist helping professionals and providers stay up-to-date on new developments in their fields.

WVU School of Social Work also offers two continuing education certificate programs; the Continuing Education Certificate in Nonprofit Management (CECNPM) and the Gerontology Practitioner Certificate (GPC). Several of the fall workshops are also approved for these programs.
