The Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering & Mineral Resource Career Fair will work to make connections between engineering students and employers Wednesday (Sept. 23) and Thursday (Sept. 24) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Engineering Sciences Complex.

Recruiters from 130 companies and governmental agencies will travel to WVU to hire interns, co-ops and upcoming graduates. Alumni are also welcome to attend, as some companies will have openings for experienced candidates.

“WVU’s engineering, safety, and computer science students have an excellent reputation in industry which attracts recruiters from companies across the country,” said Sarah Rotruck Glenn, assistant director of the WVU Career Services Center. “Our students are smart and hardworking; employers know they’ll find top talent at WVU.”

Many companies will also be recruiting for non-engineering positions, such as finance, human resources, chemistry, and geology.

WVU students and alumni who plan to attend should research the companies in advance. There will be 65 different employers each day. Professional attire is required.

A complete list of companies can be found in MountaineerTRAK: September 23rd / September 24th.
