PAUL MESAROS GALLERY: Donna Legault sculpture/sound exhibition. Open through Oct. 2.
Legault is a Canadian artist who engages audiences with sound in public spaces. Currently an electronic arts faculty member at the University of Ottawa, she is interested in offering opportunities to listen and acknowledge sonic territories defined through the transformation of sound. Her installations activate the spectator and challenge their relation to sound by drawing attention towards the qualities of “noise” as a physical and temporal presence. See Legault’s website at http://donnalegault.com/

LAURA MESAROS GALLERY: Dylan Collins, sculpture exhibition. Open through Oct. 2. Collins is coordinator of the Sculpture program at WVU.
