As part of the Evansdale campus redevelopment, one 98-space parking lot has re-opened and more spaces are expected to open in the next few weeks.

Overall, the parking lot expansion project on the Evansdale campus will generate a net gain of more than 200 short-term and permit spaces combined.

Evansdale campus is undergoing a complete transformation with the construction of new buildings, roadways, intersections and parking lots. Located behind the Creative Arts Center, ST-9 has opened with 98 parking spaces available.

Further options are being developed to provide extra short-term parking for faculty, staff and students on the Evansdale campus. A new parking area, ST-1 will be completed in the next few weeks off the entrance of Fine Arts and Patteson Drive. This short-term lot will add 140 new spaces.

The creation of Morrill Way has enhanced traffic and pedestrian flow as well as adding parking options. Added parking spaces will also be constructed around the new Evansdale Crossing. Opening later this fall, Evansdale Crossing will be a one-stop-shop facility located adjacent to the Engineering PRT station.

Other nearby locations for short-term parking include ST-8 (Erickson Alumni Center), ST-6 (near the water tower) and the ST-3 (Mountaineer Station). As always, parking at the Coliseum is free. Bus shuttle service is available for students from the Coliseum to the engineering complex.
