The Graduate String Quartet of the WVU School of Music will perform a recital Friday, May 1, at Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (Room 200A) at the Creative Arts Center.

The program begins at 8:15 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

Performing will be violinists Diego Gabete and A. Kori Hill, violist Courtney Grant and cellist Melanie Green. They will be joined by pianist Sora Lee. The program will feature “Sonata in G minor, L. 140” by Claude Debussy, “String Quartet No. 5” by Bela Bartok, “Texas Rain” (composed for Turtle Island String Quartet) by Danny Seidenberg, and “String Quartet Op. 33, No. 2 (“Joke”) by Joseph Haydn.
