WVU Center for Black Culture and Research is dynamic home for students

The Center for Black Culture and Research is a place for students, faculty and staff to learn, research and connect. And in everything it does, the center works to tell students, especially African-American students, that they belong at the University.

Anyone walking through West Virginia University’s campus can see the Center for Black Culture and Research from the outside.

But step inside, go to an event or participate in a program there and you’ll see that everything the center touches is alive. The center is a place for students, faculty and staff to learn, research and connect. And in everything it does, the center works to tell students, especially African-American students, that they belong at the University.

Check out this video showing a year in the life at the center that is full of activism, conversation, music and fun.
