The annual Fall Percussion Ensemble Concert, to be held Friday, Nov. 14, at the West Virginia University Creative Arts Center, will feature a mix of music from different cultures.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre.

According to director George Willis, this will be a very exciting concert.

“This concert will feature some classic percussion ensemble repertoire as well as new, cutting-edge music that is very challenging for the finest percussionist,” he said. “Senior percussion major James Conkle will be featured on a marvelous timpani concerto entitled ‘Colossus’ by composer Eric Rodis.”

Tickets for the Percussion Ensemble Concert are available at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center Box Offices or by calling 304-293-SHOW.
