The world’s finest dancers will battle it out on the West Virginia University Creative Arts Center stage when Dancing Pros: Live! comes to Morgantown Wednesday, Nov. 5.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. and the audience will choose the winner! Edyta Sliwinska of “Dancing With The Stars” and Chelsie Hightower of “Dancing With The Stars” and “So You Think You Can Dance” star in this unforgettable live competition show hosted by Golden Globe-nominee and star of the hit TV show “Growing Pains,” Alan Thicke. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m. at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, online at ticketmaster.com, or by calling 304-293-SHOW and 800-745-3000.

For the first time pros from “Dancing With The Stars,” “So You Think You Can Dance” and dance champions from around the world will dance off against each other. Using electronic voting remotes attached to every seat, each member of the audience will get a chance to vote for their favorite couple, becoming part of the show that will dazzle everyone with an amazing caliber celebrity and pro cast, American Idol singers, glamorous set, fantastic costumes, group numbers and, of course, unbelievable dance moves.

See dancers perfect the cha cha, waltz, tango, freestyle samba, jitterbug and swing, all performed by motion picture and television celebrities, along with world-renowned champion competitive dancers. Unlike TV reality shows, there is no waiting until next week for results; the winning couple is announced at the end of the show. From high voltage kicks to seductive strides, famed competitors demand everyone’s attention as they rival on the dance floor for a chance to win the vote.

People magazine hailed the show as, “Top notch dancing from the best in the world and a live fan vote for the winner. If you like ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ you’ll love the drama, excitement and unpredictability of Dancing Pros.”
