West Virginia University’s Chamber Winds Ensemble will present a concert at the Creative Arts Center on Sunday, Oct. 19.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Gladys G. Davis Theatre and is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of professor of music John Weigand, the Chamber Winds Ensemble will perform selections from “The Magic Flute” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; “Concertino for Solo Oboe and Winds” by Carl Maria von Weber; and “Octet-Partita” by Johann Nepomuk Hummel.

The work by Carl Maria von Weber will feature WVU doctoral music student Evan Klein, oboe.
