The College of Business and Economics Distinguished Speaker Series will host its first lecture of the academic year on Thursday (Sept. 18) at 10 a.m. in the West Virginia University Mountainlair Ballrooms.

Nathan Savage, currently on the Savage Companies Board of Directors and senior vice president and group leader for the Oil & Gas Midstream Solutions Group, will be the speaker. The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Savage holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from WVU. He started with the Savage Companies in 1995 and has served in Operations, Finance, Business Development and, most recently, as leader for the Corporate Development and Refinery Solutions Groups.

The B&E Distinguished Speaker Series is presented in part by Wells Fargo. The event is free and open to the public.
