This event is a day-long trombone seminar designed for high school trombonists and will be hosted by WVU trombone professors Keith Jackson and Brian Plitnik.
WVU Trombone Day is free and open to any interested students, parents, teachers, and band directors. This educational experience will be packed with master classes, a WVU trombone faculty recital, performances by WVU student trombone ensembles, a special guest artist appearance by the Pittsburgh Trombone Quartet, and a chance for Trombone Day participants to perform in a mass Trombone Choir alongside WVU students. A complimentary lunch will be provided.
There are no registration costs or audition requirements. Students may register the day of the event, but space is limited. Please email Brian Plitnik in advance at Brian.Plitnik@mail.wvu.edu for additional information.
