West Virginia University is searching for dean/director of Extension Service “who will develop and communicate a compelling and contemporary vision” for the University’s third-largest unit.

Maryanne Reed, dean of the Reed College of Media, will chair the 14-member screening committee. The dean/director will report to Joyce McConnell, provost and vice president for academic affairs.

“WVU is extremely proud of Extension Service’s accomplishments and contributions to the state and is looking for a leader who will understand the significance of Extension to the state and its citizens,” McConnell said.

• Paul Martinelli, program manager, Knapp Hall Extension Service Building supervisor.
Margaret Miltenberger, 4-H and family extension agent, Mineral County Extension.
• Jessie Momen, business planning officer, WVU Extension.
• Shawn Morgan, treasurer, Harrison County 4-H Leaders Association
Kelly Nix, extension specialist, WVU Community Resources and Economic Development.
Dan Robison, dean, Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design.
• Denis Scott, 4-H extension agent, Global Education and Civic Engagement, WVU Extension 4-H.
Lauren Weatherford, extension agent, Fayette/Nicholas County Extension.
Jennifer Williams, program director, WVU Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources.
