West Virginia University’s International Student Organization will bring together students from all cultures to celebrate integration with the first International Prom Grad Social.

Held at Lakeview Resort, the event will take place from 7 – 11 p.m. on May 3.

The International Prom Grad Social is designed to honor students graduating at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as those who may not have had the prom experience. Both international and domestic students are encourage to attend, and families are welcome.

The evening will offer refreshments, a photo booth, door prizes, dancing and music of all nationalities. Henna corsages will be available for the ladies, as well. Transportation to and from Lakeview will be available if needed.

Tickets can be purchased from any member of ISO, and are $10 for students, $25 for singles and $40 for couples.

The event is being sponsored by the Office of International Student Affairs and Global Services, the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and several of the colleges across campus.

Thought up by Arathy Narase Gowda, the event will create a healthier and more diverse atmosphere on WVU’s campus, and will provide an inclusive community for all students, celebrating “Integrity in Diversity.”
