The West Virginia University Chamber Winds ensemble, conducted by John Weigand, will present a spring concert at the Creative Arts Center, Tuesday, April 22.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (200A) and is free and open to the public.

The program will include “Serenade in D minor, Op. 44” by Antoinin Dvor�k (1841-1904) and “Music from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” by John Williams (b. 1932).

Students in the ensemble include: Amanda Cook, Mirim Lee, and Alyssa Schwartz (flutes); Jamal Davidson, Evan Klein, Stephen Oswald, and Alicia Smith (oboes); Chris Bowmaster, Cody Dixon, and Kelsey Webb (clarinets); Ida Cawley, Lauren LaPoint, and Mark Lefever (bassoons); Kristin Chamberlin, Monica Hambrick, Alex Higgins, and Chase Phillips (horns); Melanie Green (cello); and Chris Byrne (bass).
