West Virginia University is ready for you to select its annual Fan Shirt. It’s up to you!

The Fan Shirt is the official shirt for WVU fans to wear throughout the 2014-15 school year. Now, Mountaineer fans have the opportunity to choose not only the design of the front and back but also the color. There are gold and blue options for each design.

This year, which is the fifth year of the WVU Fan Shirt, there are 18 different combinations that could be selected by Mountaineer fans.

The front designs are as follows:

• Mountaineer Nation: The country knows the strength of the Mountaineers. On game days, Mountaineer fans unite as one to form Mountaineer Nation.
• Pride of WV: WVU is the state’s flagship University. The pride of the state can be found in Mountaineer fans worldwide.
• Forever a Mountaineer: Mountaineers know once you’re a fan, it’s a bond you’ll have forever.

The back designs are as follows:

• The Mountaineer Mascot
• The Mountaineer Mascot standing in front of the state of West Virginia
• The state of West Virginia with a “Flying WV”

Starting today (March 27), fans can vote for their favorite color and design by visiting http://fanshirt.wvu.edu/ or by texting WVUTshirt to 41411. Votes will be taken until April 10. Fans can vote again each day. For each vote, you will be entered to be one of five winners of the 2014 WVU Fan Shirt.

The winning shirt will be announced at the Gold-Blue Spring Game on April 12 at Milan Puskar Stadium.

The winning shirt will be available in June at WVU/Nike retailers or at http://shopwvu.com.
