The West Virginia University Chamber Winds, featuring some of the finest student musicians at the University, will perform a concert at the Creative Arts Center, Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Gladys G. Davis Theatre.

The event is free and open to the public.

Conducted by music faculty member John Weigand, the Chamber Winds will perform a program that includes “Slavonic Dances” by Anton�n Dvor�k (1841-1904), arr. by Patrick Clements, and “Symphony for Winds in E flat Major” by Richard Strauss (1864-1949).

The ensemble includes flutists Amanda Cook and Mirim Lee; oboists Jamal Davidson, Evan Klein, Stephen Oswald, Alicia Smith and Matt Pitts; clarinetists Chris Bowmaster, Jessica DeVaney, Cody Dixon and Julie Hollis; bassoonists Ida Cawley, Lauren LaPoint and Mark Lefever; and hornists Kristin Chamberlin, Monica Hambrick, Alex Higgins, Chase Phillips, and Ryan Scott.
