The West Virginia University Career Services Center is hosting its career fair on Wednesday and Thursday (Sept. 18-19) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.

For the first time, this will be a two-day event. In addition, the Career Services Center has launched a new mobile app, which will allow students to view employers, information sessions, sponsors, a detailed floor chart of the event and post to Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

“The move to a two-day career fair and the launch of a new mobile app and will help connect students with more employers while providing a more effective way to navigate the event,” said Sarah Glenn, Career Services Center assistant director. “Networking has never been so easy.”

The “Wvujobfairs” app can be downloaded for free for iPhone, Android and Blackberry in their respective app stores. A web-based version is also available.

There will be nearly 120 employers on campus over the two-day event, representing diverse industries, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
