With the first Big 12 season in the books and the beginning of season two just weeks away, West Virginia University alumni and friends are ready for some football. The WVU Alumni Association is excited to offer fans the opportunity to join them in Oklahoma for a special “road trip.”

The trip includes two nights’ hotel accommodations at the Sheraton Oklahoma City (all appropriate taxes and fees included), welcome gathering, deluxe motor coach transportation to and from the game, official WVU pre-game event, and all taxes/gratuities.

The Sheraton will serve as the official headquarters of the WVU Alumni Association. WVU Sports Travel and alumni officials will host the trip and staff an information desk at the hotel.

“As we begin season two in the Big 12, this is a great opportunity for alumni and fans to enjoy the Oklahoma experience and visit the storied Oklahoma Memorial Stadium,” said Steve Douglas, president and CEO, WVU Alumni Association.

Alumni, friends and fans are encouraged to register for the travel package by visiting http://www.wvusportstravel.com or by calling 1-888-373-5067. Tickets for the game may be purchased by visiting http://www.wvugame.com.

The Mountaineers will face off against the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on FOX.

WVU alumni and fans are invited to join fellow Mountaineers at the pre-game event on Sept. 7 (details, including location/time, will be released at a later date). For more information about the WVU Alumni Association visit http://alumni.wvu.edu.
