West Virginia University’s Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity will hold a bell-ringing ceremony Friday (May 3) in remembrance of student Andrew Streicher.

Streicher, 18, a freshman engineering major from Gaithersburg, Md., died on April 21.

The service will begin around 11:45 a.m. at Oglebay Plaza on WVU’s Downtown Campus, and those interested in attending are asked to be there at least 15 minutes beforehand.

Family, friends and members of the University community are welcome to attend Friday’s ceremony.

Individuals who would like to speak should contact Travis Day, memorial bell-ringing chair, at tday1@mix.wvu.edu.
