Members of West Virginia University’s National Pan-Hellenic Council will engage in rhythmic clapping and foot stomping routines as it competes in the annual WVU Divine Nine Step Show on April 20. This year’s step-show theme is “Retaking the Throne!”

The show will be held at the Metropolitan Theatre, located at 369 High Street. The doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets went on sale Monday (April 8) from noon to 3 p.m. Sales will continue in the Mountainlair on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s from noon to 3 p.m. leading up to the event. Tickets will also be available online at http://wvustepshow.eventbrite.com. The costs of presale tickets are $12 for students with a valid student ID, $15 for general admission and $10 for Greeks.

Tickets purchased the day of the event will increase to $15 for students with a valid student ID, $20 for general admission and $12 for Greeks. There will be an after-party for “Retaking the Throne” at the V.F.W. on 494 Spruce Street.

The nine organizations in the council are: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
