Graduation is a memorable celebration for students and families. This year the West Virginia University Alumni Association is adding a unique opportunity for the University’s newest alumni and their families to celebrate this special occasion.

On Saturday, May 18, the Association will host a brunch at The Erickson Alumni Center as part of Commencement weekend activities. The menu, created for this special weekend, features more than 50 items, including smoked salmon, carved ham, Belgian waffles, fruits, salads, vegetables, desserts and more.

“We have wanted to create something unique for our new graduates for quite some time, and this brunch will be truly special for graduates and their families,” said Stephen Douglas, president & CEO, WVU Alumni Association. “They can enjoy excellent food by our award-winning chef while getting familiar with their alumni home. And, the setting provides wonderful photo opportunities to mark this special occasion.”

Those interested in attending the brunch will have two seating options – one at 8 a.m. and the second at 11 a.m. The cost is $35 for adults, children ages 3-12 are $10, and children ages 2 and under are free. Graduates who are accompanied by two adults receive a complimentary brunch.

Reservations must be made by May 13 by completing the online RSVP form. Space is limited, so we encourage those interested to reserve a spot soon. A member of the WVU Alumni Association staff will call you to confirm your reservation and to collect payment information. On-site parking will be provided at no charge.
