WELLWVU will be hosting Green Dot Instructor Training in Morgantown this May.

The training is being offered to West Virginia University faculty, staff and community members from May 20-23 in the Mountainlair. The training cost is $120 for WVU faculty and staff and non-profit organizations. It’s $200 for other academic institutions. Training costs will include printed and electronic materials needed to implement Green Dot and lunch throughout the four days.

The Green Dot program prepares organizations and communities to implement a strategy of violence prevention that consistently, measurably reduces power-based personal violence. Bringing the Green Dot instructor training to the WVU campus emphasizes the University’s commitment to ending power-based violence on campus and throughout the state.
