A beautiful collection of watercolors depicting West Virginia by world-renowned artist P. Buckley Moss has made its way to Morgantown. P. Buckley Moss, The West Virginia Collection Exhibit will be on display during a special showing at The Erickson Alumni Center’s Nutting Gallery. The West Virginia University Alumni Association will host an open house in the gallery on Thursday, Dec. 6, from 4-6 p.m.

Pat Buckley Moss, better know as P. Buckley Moss, uses watercolor to depict West Virginia in this collection featuring Concord University, The Greenbrier, Marshall University, WVU and other well-known sites in West Virginia.

Moss is one of America’s most prized living artists. An alumna of New York’s prestigious Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, Pat Moss is a formally educated and accomplished artist, highly regarded by academics and collectors alike. Her art is represented in more than 200 galleries worldwide.

Jake Henderson, President of the P. Buckley Moss Museum in Waynesboro, Va., will be in attendance to present for those interested in Moss’ work.

The West Virginia Collection Exhibit will be open to the public during regular WVU hours of operation, Monday through Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., with the exception of official WVU holidays. The exhibit will be on display through the end of January. Please call the WVU Alumni Association at (304) 293-4731 for large groups or to check availability for viewing.
