West Virginia University’s College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and Stansbury Fitness Center are hosting the first “Workout for Pink” in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

The program runs from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31. The entry fee is $20 but participants will receive a complimentary membership to the fitness center for the month. All proceeds will benefit cancer research. The fee includes a workout packet, and a free “Workout for Pink” t-shirt, and pink ribbon to remember who they are “working out for.”

Participants who complete 20 workouts during the allotted time become eligible for a prize drawing at the end of the month.

The Stansbury Fitness Center is located in the basement of Stansbury Hall on Beechurst Avenue in downtown Morgantown.

To register or receive more information, please visit the program website at http://www.lifetimeactivities.org or contact program director Nancy Naternicola at 304-293-0858.
