The West Virginia University College of Business and Economics is offering a prep course for people who will be taking the Graduate Management Admission Test.

Classes will be held on Oct. 6, Oct. 13, Oct. 27 and Nov. 10, and run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a break for lunch. The course will be held in B&E Room 458, located in the College of Business and Economics on WVU’s downtown campus.

The course will cover understanding the basic format of the GMAT, using strategic approaches to solve quantitative problems and comprehending sentence correction rules.

A practice exam is scheduled for Dec. 8 from 8 a.m. to noon in the B&E Computer Lab.

Registration is available at http://be.wvu.edu/graduate/. The priority registration deadline is Oct. 1.
