The West Virginia University Personal Rapid Transit system will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Aug.13-14, for system scheduled maintenance prior to the start of the fall semester. For these two days, PRT passengers are encouraged to use the Mountain Line bus service.

WVU employees and students have free access to Mountain Line with the use of a valid WVU ID. Mountain Line schedules can be viewed at http://www.busride.org/ or by calling 304-291-RIDE.

PRT service will resume on Wednesday, Aug. 15, with the full fall operating schedule of 6:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. weekdays and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

In addition to the changes listed for Monday and Tuesday of next week, the PRT will be providing service on Sunday, Aug. 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. prior to the start of the fall academic term. During normal operation, the PRT does not provide service on Sunday. In order to accommodate Fall Fest crowds on Monday, Aug. 20, the PRT will extend hours of operation to 1 a.m.
