The West Virginia University Alumni Association is pleased to announce the election of Melissa Bucci Laue to its Board of Directors, effective July 26, 2012.

Mrs. Bucci Laue received her bachelor’s degree from WVU’s Eberly College of Arts & Sciences in 1990. She serves as President of N3, a full-service, strategic sales and marketing provider to the software industry. Since co-founding N3 in 2004, Mrs. Bucci Laue has been instrumental in positioning the firm as a global leader in its field. N3 has earned a strong reputation for both its consultancy practice and implementation capabilities, a rare combination for software sales and partner management organizations.

“Melissa is a wonderful addition to our board,” said Steve Douglas, president and CEO, WVU Alumni Association. “Her professional background and strategic vision, combined with her love of West Virginia and her alma mater, will assist us in broadening our services to meet the ever-changing needs of our alumni, while helping us achieve our short- and long-term goals.”

Mrs. Bucci Laue has been an active member of her community. Born in Morgantown, W.Va., and raised in Charleston, she served on the Sunrise Friends Board of Directors and co-chaired the Sunrise Symphony Raffle. She also was a member of the first Court Appointed Special Advocates for Kanawha County’s graduating class and a member of The Junior League of Charleston. After moving to Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Bucci Laue continued her commitment to community and philanthropic organizations, including teaching Sunday school at the Parish School of Religion at the Cathedral of Christ the King, and providing financial and volunteer support to the Atlanta Food Bank, Toys for Tots, Quality Care for Children, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, among others.

While at WVU, Mrs. Bucci Laue majored in history, minored in political science and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta. The Mountaineer ties run deep in her family. Her father, Guy Bucci, graduated from the WVU’s College of Law in 1970, and her brother, Paul Bucci, also graduated from the Eberly College of Arts & Sciences in 1992.

Mrs. Bucci Laue lives in Atlanta with her husband, Jeff, and their daughter, Audrey.
