All West Virginia University alumni and friends are invited to participate in the 2012 Gold & Blue Golf Tournament which will be held at the Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa on Friday, July 27th. A shotgun start by the Mountaineer will begin at 12:30 pm.

The tournament, hosted by the WVU Alumni Association, is open to the first 120 golfers who register at a cost of $150 per golfer. The cost includes greens fees, cart, lunch, door prizes and a post-tournament dinner reception. Lakeview will offer a special Gold & Blue weekend room rate and discounts on other amenities on site. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Loyalty Permanent Endowment Fund, which provides more than 400 scholarships to deserving WVU students.

The weekend’s special guest will be former WVU quarterback, All American and College Football Hall of Famer Major Harris.

In addition to the tournament on Friday, sponsors of the event will enjoy a special sponsors’ reception from 6-8 pm in the Chestnut Ridge Ballroom.
