The West Virginia University Residence Hall Association will hold its 11th annual talent show on Friday (March 16) at 7 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms. The top two acts from each residence hall will compete against each other under the theme “Zombieland.”

“Each residence hall has their own talent show every year, and the top two acts advance to the annual RHA Talent Show,” said Walter Hardy, RHA President.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three acts. Prizes include $500, $300 and $100. The honorable mention finisher will also receive $100.

“Since we have residence halls on both WVU campuses, students don’t always get the chance to interact with students in other halls,” Hardy said. “The annual talent show gives residents a chance to meet others while showcasing his or her talents.”

All students are encouraged to attend this year’s talent show. Free refreshments will be available as attendees enjoy the entertainment. Prizes and giveaways will also be awarded.

This event is free and open to the public.
