Several members of the West Virginia University music faculty will present a chamber recital featuring works by Ralph Vaughan Williams at the Creative Arts Center, Thursday, Jan. 12.

The event begins at 8:15 p.m. in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (Room 200A) and is free and open to the public.

Tenor Nicholas Perna will be joined by violinist Mikylah McTeer, student violinist Molly Christie, violist Andrea Houde, cellist William Skidmore, and pianist Robert Thieme for the concert, which features Williams’ landmark song cycle “On Wenlock Edge,” as well as his little-heard “Four Hymns for Tenor, Viola, and Piano.”

Perna and Thieme will also perform Roger Quilter’s song cycle, “To Julia.”
