West Virginia University students who are members of Greek organizations will have the opportunity to learn about leadership, scholarship and service to their fraternity or sorority.

David Stollman, co-founder of CampuSpeak, will speak on Thursday (Nov. 10) at 8 p.m. in room G20 of Ming Hsieh Hall.

“David is one of the top speakers on tour nationwide, and we are very fortunate to have him speak at WVU,” said Ron Justice, director of WVU Student Organizations Services.

The presentation titled “Buy In or Get Out” will touch on the core values of fraternity and sorority life and challenge Greek life students to embrace the best and get rid of the rest. The lecture will also cover the major issues facing today’s members in a funny and interactive style.

“He will bring a motivational message that will greatly benefit chapter membership,” Justice said.

Stollman has been an active volunteer of his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, since 1995. He developed the Recruitment Boot Camp program that helped thousands of fraternity and sorority chapters recruit more high quality members.

For more than 15 years, Stollman has been requested by Greek organizations across the nation for all-day workshops and keynote sessions to teach membership standards. With his help, chapters have quadrupled their memberships and increased their bid acceptance more than 50 percent.
