The West Virginia University Department of Transportation and Parking is hosting meetings for those interested in using the vanpool matching service provided by WVU and the Greater Morgantown Metropolitan Planning Organization.

Informational meetings will be held on Sept. 13 from 2:30-3:30 p.m. and 4-5 p.m. in the fourth floor conference room 3A and 3B at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Vanpools provide the greatest benefit to commuters who travel more than 24 miles on a roundtrip commute.

Subsidy opportunities are available for the first three months of service. Benefits include a comprehensive maintenance program with 24-hour roadside assistance, access to a back-up vehicle and comprehensive insurance coverage with no deductible. WVU will also provide additional benefits such as preferred vanpool parking and a guaranteed ride home.

For more information about the meetings visit http://commuterchoices.com , or email April at ratliffa@wvuhealthcare.com.
