Critically acclaimed and universally recognized, the vivacious Joan Rivers has become a tour-de-force during her illustrious career, which now spans more than four decades. An entertainment legend of unparalleled accomplishment and talent, she’s an internationally renowned comedienne, Emmy-winning television talk show host, Tony-nominated actress, best-selling author, playwright, screenwriter, film director, columnist, lecturer, syndicated radio host, jewelry designer and business entrepreneur. From her signature (federally trademarked) question “Can we talk?” to her red carpet mantra “Who are you wearing?,” Rivers’ brazen manner and unmistakable likeness has helped to make her persona a hot commodity for TV cameos and voiceovers, such as her stints in Shrek 2, The Simpsons, Nip/Tuck and more.
After successfully winning season two of The Celebrity Apprentice, Rivers has returned to reality TV with daughter Melissa in a new show called Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best? which sets out to address the age-old question of whether or not mothers really know what’s best. Recently, Rivers also made a triumphant return to E! Entertainment Television to host the network’s popular franchise Fashion Police, covering red carpet style during awards season and hosting the weekly series.

Tickets are on sale now at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices. Ticket prices range from $37 to $62, depending on seat location. WVU Students can purchase tickets for $22 with a valid WVU Student I.D. Tickets are also available online at ticketmaster.com and by phone at 304-293-SHOW or 800-745-3000. Tickets purchased for the original performance date of April 30 will be honored at the door.
