West Virginia University will hold a faculty and student panel to discuss recent uprisings in the Arab Middle East and Northern Africa on Tuesday (March 15).

The panel will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Ming Hsieh Hall, room G21.

WVU faculty members from geography, political science, leadership studies and religious studies departments, who have traveled and conducted research in the Arab Middle East or Northern Africa, will be featured. WVU students from those regions will also discuss the recent uprisings and their impact on the local communities and on WVU’s campus.

The public is invited to attend.

The panel is sponsored by the WVU Office of Multicultural Programs’ Office of International and Global Outreach and Office of International Programs.
