West Virginia University is showing a film on cases of slavery occurring around the world as part of their Brown Bag Lunch Film and Discussion Series.

The film, “Slavery: a Global Investigation,” will be shown on Thursday (March 10) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Gluck Theatre of the Mountainlair.

The award-winning film was inspired by Kevin Bales’ book, “Disposable People: New Slavery in the Global Economy.” It will be presented by Timothy Adivilah, a political science doctoral student.
