Violist Shelly Tramposh and pianist Cullan Bryant, both of the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York at Potsdam, will present a guest artist recital at the West Virginia University Creative Arts Center, Thursday (Oct. 28).

The concert begins at 8:15 p.m. in the Bloch Learning and Performance Hall (200A) and is free and open to the public.

The program will feature works for viola and piano.

Tramposh is viola professor at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Postdam, where she performs in the Potsdam Piano Quartet and as principal violist with the Orchestra of Northern New York. In addition, she performs regularly with the Ariel Chamber Players with Cullan Bryant and Adele O’Dwyer.

Bryant is among the most active chamber and collaborative pianists in New York City, maintaining a schedule of more than 50 recitals a year.
