On Saturday (Oct. 23) before the West Virginia University Mountaineers take on the Syracuse Orange, the Coke Zero College Tailgate Tour will make a stop at the Student LOT.

Performing at the WVU Student LOT will be musical artist Jennifer Paige and special guests Rivers Monroe. The lot will open at 9 a.m.

The Atlanta-born American beauty, Paige, was discovered by the public in 1998 with the #1 global hit “Crush” which went on to become one of the year’s best-selling tracks. Paige has performed in front of millions all over the world, including singing for the pope at the Vatican, and being nominated for “Best New Artist” at the World Music Awards.

Paige’s music has been featured in several motion pictures including “Smart People” and “Inspector Gadget,” and has appeared on countless hit television series including “Las Vegas” and the “Oprah Winfrey Show.”

Paige’s recent hit “Beautiful Lie,” which she co-wrote and sung with Nick Carter, is a top 20 hit in Europe and is poised for U.S. release this fall.

Paige’s special guests will be Rivers Monroe. This high-energy pop-rock quintet has recently completed their second full-length album, “Meteors,” after the successful and well-received release of album “Electric Life” in 2009.

Besides the live music, there will be plenty of giveaways including:
• Coca-Cola shirts, hats and other gear
• Sunoco Gasoline rewards cards and t-shirts
• Free music from Jennifer Paige and Rivers Monroe

Free food and other games will be provided at the lot. No alcohol will be permitted.
