WELL WVU and West Virginia University’s Greek organizations have teamed up to promote “Wrap it Up,” a daylong educational event that promotes sexual health awareness.

The event, held as part of WELL WVU’s “loveWELL” month, will be held on Monday (Oct. 18), during WVU’s Homecoming Week. Activities will be held across from the Mountainlair from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The month is part of WELL WVU’s liveWELL campaign.

The event aims to encourage sexually active students to make responsible decisions about their sexual health. Activities will include Condom Sense, a program to teach students correct condom use; and Myth Buster Fishbowl, a program to dispel common sexual health myths.

During “loveWELL” month, WELL WVU will be promoting MTV’s “Get Yourself Tested” campaign to demonstrate the importance of testing for sexually transmitted infections. Educational activities designed to help students make informed decisions related to sexual health will also be held in the residence halls, and WVU’s Condom Caravan will be available at regularly scheduled locations.
