West Virginia University Safety and Extension Service is offering two U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) classes in Morgantown from Nov. 10-12.

The #502”Update for Construction Industry Outreach Trainers” class is a three-day course designed for personnel in the private sector who have completed course #500 (trainer course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry) and who are active trainers in the outreach program.

The class #503 “Update for General Industry Outreach Trainers” is a three-day course designed for personnel in the private sector who have completed course #501 (trainer course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry) and who are active trainers in the outreach program.

The courses provide an update on topics such as OSHA construction or general industry standards, policies, and regulations.

Seating is limited and preregistration is required two weeks prior to the course start date. For priority registration, please sign up by Wednesday, Oct. 27. Tuition is $625 a person per class.

Customized group training sessions are also available on a contractual basis for employers wishing to train their workforce.
