Italian crooner Patrizio Buanne will grace the Metropolitan Theatre stage with his silky vocals and timeless songs on Friday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at the Mountainlair Creative Arts Center box offices, ticketmaster.com and by phone at 304-293-SHOW and 800-745-3000.

Sophisticated, charming, stylish and of course, romantic, Patrizio Buanne is poised to take on the world with his “voice of romance.” While his multi-cultural upbringing in Naples, Italy and Vienna, Austria sparked an early passion for spoken languages, Buanne’s true calling in life as a singer and entertainer emerged at an early age. By the time he was 17 years old, he had performed in front of 85,000 people at a Papal visit in Poland. This performance led to his first record deal. His first album, The Italian, achieved golden status after only one week on the charts in the United Kingdom and soared to platinum in various countries around the world. His follow up record, Forever Begins Tonight, helped Buanne achieve success in the United States, capturing the hearts of fans everywhere.

Buanne’s new record, Patrizio, helmed by legendary music producer Humberto Gatica, is a showcase of songs featuring his own contemporary, but timeless interpretation of Italian and American classics, along with some stunning new compositions. His talent for reviving classic Italian songs in a dual-language pop fashion has helped him gain respect and admiration across the globe.
