A PepsiCo executive who is an alumnus of WVU’s College of Business and Economics will be inducted into the Master of Science in Industrial Relations Hall of Fame at West Virginia University on Friday, June 25, at 1:15 p.m. at the Milan Puskar Stadium Touchdown Terrace.

John L. Berisford, senior vice president for Human Resources and integration at PepsiCo, will address this year’s students in the college’s Master of Science in Industrial Relations program.
His talk will take place at the program’s hooding ceremony at 4 p.m. at the WVU Erickson Alumni Center.

Berisford is currently heading the restructuring of PepsiCo’s global beverage business and internal capital strategy.

Raised in Moundsville, Berisford received his Master of Science in Industrial Relations degree from West Virginia University in 1988 and his Bachelor of Arts: Political Science/English from West Liberty College.

The Hall of Fame was created as part of the College of Business and Economics’ 50th anniversary celebration for its Master of Science in Industrial Relations Program, which began in 1958, seven years after the business college was established.
