Children, teens and adults can learn new skills, relax or fine tune fitness levels through the Lifetime Activities Program at WVU. Classes are available this summer to challenge and motivate Morgantown area residents of all ages.

Want to give your child a fun opportunity to learn healthy life skills this summer? Sign up for WVU Healthy Kids Camp, which encourages children ages 5-11 to develop active lifestyles and healthy choices.

Enrollment is now open for swim lessons, pool parties, and Future Athletes Camp. Teens can learn martial arts, boxing, and power lifting, to list a few. Adults can sign up for Boot Camp, Massage for Friends and Family, tango and rumba, and navigation and survival.

Zumba and aerobic classes are open for teens and adults, as well as certification in American Red Cross First Aid. A power lifting workshop is available for teens and adults as well.

Summer classes begin in June and run through August. Classes have varying schedules and meeting dates. Participants should register before the first day of class. A registration form is available on line at www.lifetimeactivities.org.

Click on Summer Registration to view the complete class list, register and to pay on line.

Children participating in WVU Healthy Kids Camp will work one-on-one with a personal trainer in strength and aerobic conditioning, nutrition and health information, active games, inline skating, scooters, songs, jump ropes and other favorite games.
